We built it to be read, and it collects nothing about the people who read it. This page sets out everything it does with information, in plain words.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind, and it loads nothing from other companies: the fonts, photographs and videos are all served from the site itself.

What your browser remembers

If you switch between light and dark, your browser remembers the choice for this site, on your own device, so the next page opens the same way. A few other display settings are kept the same way. They never leave your device, and you can clear them at any time in your browser's settings.

Our host

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel handles the technical details of each visit, such as your IP address and the browser you use, to deliver the pages and keep the service secure. We do not use these details to identify you. You can read Vercel's privacy notice.

When you write to us

If you send us the form on our contact page, we receive your name, your email address, the choices you make and what you write. The form passes them to Resend, the service that sends them to our inbox as an email, under Resend's privacy policy, and this site keeps no copy. If you email us at hello@ochreandoar.com, we receive your address and whatever you choose to tell us. Mail to that address, from the form or written directly, is forwarded by Porkbun, where our address is registered, to our own mailboxes. Either way, we use it only to reply and to work with you. We never sell it, and we never share it for marketing.

If you message us on WhatsApp, the conversation is carried by WhatsApp, a Meta service, under WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to other sites, such as the sources of our campaign figures. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies.

Your rights, and questions

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time. If anything here changes, we will update this page and its date. Questions are welcome at hello@ochreandoar.com.
